2026-27 Snowbird Season Passes Go On Sale with Lowest Price of the Year & $100 Renewal Credit

Snowbird is excited to announce that 2026-27 season passes are now on sale with a big nod toward passholders and the community. Highlights include a $100 renewal credit and the return of the popular kids Freeloader Pass, which allows every 2026-27 Adult, Military and Senior Summit or Alta-Bird passholder to gift one free season pass to anyone aged 18 and under, with no relation required.

Passes launch as Snowbird’s north-facing terrain and high elevation have helped maintain some of the best skiing and riding conditions this season, with no closing date in sight.

As we look ahead to the 2026/27 season, I’m filled with gratitude for the community that calls these canyons home” said Dave Fields, President and General Manager of Snowbird.. “This past winter reminded us why Snowbird is legendary. It was the relentless dedication of our mountain team who worked around the clock to ensure every turn was the best it could be."

  • The Snowbird Summit Pass is eligible for an Ikon Base Add-On Benefit.

  • The Alta-Bird Pass will be available early May, with additional details to follow.

  • The Flex-5 Pass also goes on sale March 25, offering five days of skiing and riding during the 2026-27 season with no blackout dates at just $112 per day.

We’re proud to launch our passes in March, giving our guests immediate access to spring skiing,” said Fields. “I’m equally as excited to offer a much deeper renewal discount to current passholders. Snowbird passholders are important and I personally want them to feel how much I value them choosing Snowbird.”

Early purchasers of the 2026-27 Snowbird Summit and Alta-Bird Pass will receive a variety of Early Bird Benefits. These include a complimentary night at The Cliff Lodge that can be used this winter, starting April 1 until December 17, two All-Day Summer Activity Passes and 50 percent off two Fast Tracks upgrades.

The Freeloader Pass, which provides a free 18 and under Summit pass with each qualifying adult pass, remains available as Snowbird looks toward growing the future generation of skiers and riders while acknowledging that families come in many shapes and sizes. The Freeloader Pass will be available in all pricing tiers.

Snowbird continues its payment plan system through Affirm, which allows for more flexibility through payment schedules including 6-months, 0 percent-interest options. Additional passholder perks for Summit and Alta-Bird passes include unlimited 20% discounts on select Mountain School programs, rentals, logo merchandise and ski or snowboard repairs. Passholders will also receive a free UTA Ski Bus season fare, 50 percent off five Friends & Family lift tickets and 50 percent off lift tickets at all Mountain Collective resorts throughout the 2026-27 season.

Preferred Parking Passes for the 2026-27 season will be available to current passholders starting March 25 and to the public on April 15. As always, these passes provide access to premium parking at Snowbird. Snowbird will continue to offer a hybrid system of both paid reserved parking and free first-come, first-served options.

Averaging more than 500 inches of snowfall a year, Snowbird is celebrating 50 years as North America’s most accessible alpine resort destination. Located just 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, Snowbird provides year-round big mountain experiences at the top of Utah through its iconic Aerial Tram and 2,500 acres of legendary terrain.
