Bergbahnen Beckenried-Emmetten AG has a new managing director. The choice fell on Heinz Rutishauser. Born in Bern, he works as CEO at Limmex AG in Zurich and is changing from an emergency call device manufacturer to the cable car and tourism industry. Heinz Rutishauser will start as the new managing director of Bergbahnen Beckenried-Emmetten AG in late autumn 2021. The 59-year-old will take over the fortunes of the company and, as chairman of the management board, will consistently continue to implement the strategic direction together with the board of directors and employees.

Rooted in the region

Born in Bern, he has lived in Nidwalden since 1999 and, in addition to his professional activities, is also involved in events and in local politics. The former track and field athlete regularly sits on his racing bike and mountain bike or, in winter, is on cross-country or alpine skis.
