Summer News From Sun Peaks

Alpine improvements for your summer adventures

The Sun Peaks Bike Park and hiking trail networks are growing! Over the coming months, the summer slopes crew will be hard at work on the first steps of a multi-phase plan to develop more terrain for new and intermediate riders, including a top-to-bottom lift-access beginner trail and a designated skills zone. Alpine hikers will soon have access to more picture-perfect picnic areas too. Those who didn’t pack a lunch can visit the newly renovated Sunburst Bar + Eatery at mid-mountain, for fresh summer fare and an ice-cold drink.

Celebrate Canada Day weekend with Sun Peaks and Big Sugar

Celebrate Canada Day weekend at Sun Peaks with family-friendly fun, culinary delights and tunes to get you groovin’. This year, the eclectic sounds of Big Sugar, a mainstay of Canadian Rock, will fill the air at the slopeside, open-air stage on Saturday, June 30. That’s not all! From Laughing Loggers, and the Mountain of Beer and Chili Cook-Off, to the Kids Zone, and Lobster Fest, and so much more, this weekend is not to be missed.  Best of all, most of the activities, including the concert, are free!

Family weeks: free fun for the whole family

Back by popular demand, from July 16 to August 10, families can enjoy FREE kid-friendlyactivities during their summer mountain holiday. Three times daily from Monday to Friday, guests will have the opportunity to join the fun with activities such as art classes, sing-a-longs, pony rides, guided hikes and testing your swing at the driving range. Top off these free organized activities with other family-friendly pursuits including bike riding, or exploring the valley trails.
